Travel Tips Clearly some people who have been answering your question have shouldn't, becuase they don't know what they are talking about. The roughest parts of Edinburgh are generally located in the suburbs, Niddrie, Craigmiller, Granton (although it is going through some major regernation developments) Sighthill, Pilton, and a couple more located in the outskirts that I can't remember the names of because I never go anywhere near them!
