Edinburgh is fairly reasonable. Others you should go All the girls are dead cheap very for scotland, cheaper than london, beautifull place DIDN'T REALISE IT WAS UP FOR SALE ! Went there last year; it was among the cheapest of the six or seven cities I went to in that timeframe. (Bergen, Norway, was the most expensive.) Edinburgh has a shopping mall not far from the castle; the food mall there was easily as cheap as those in U.S. cities. Ate at a pub just down hill from the castle and was able to get an excellent lunch for about $10 U.S. My wife and I were so impressed with Edinburgh, we vowed to go back, by car from London, to stay a few days. Trip to Edinburgh in 2005. It's good value for what you get. Stay in a B&B or a hostel as these are best value and eat meals in pubs (good food at good prices) and go on the ghost tour (good fun) before going to the excellent bars. Think 拢85 a day for food, beer, accomodation etc and you won't have a bad time at all. I don't know the price of strippers though! |
