A tree at Greyfriars Kirk, Edinburgh? |
Travel Info I went to Edinburgh last spring and there were trees in the cemetery at Greyfriars Kirk that had little white blossoms on them, when they fell they covered the ground in white. Does anyone know what type of tree that is? Thanks Travel Tips I have seen some flowering cherry trees in images of Greyfriars and I have also been told that there are Elder trees in the cemetery. Of the two it's the Elder which has small white blossoms on them. Wine can be made from both the flowers and the berries which appear after the flowers...very nice it is too. |
