TAXI CONCESSIONS

Taxis are an important form of door-to-door transport, but their cost can deter many users. The City of Edinburgh Council runs a taxi concession scheme called Taxicard.

The scheme is designed for disabled people who cannot use public transport buses and provides a discount of up to 拢3.00 per trip for a maximum of 104 single trips per year. Contact 0800 23 23 23 for details.

Taxicard holders can also travel on trains within the Lothian area for free (see section on
"Rail Services" for details). Source(s): http://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/cec/city_dev...
Other Travel Tips
Write to your local council.
The number for the city of Edinburgh Council is 0131 200 2000. Ask for Accessible Transport. They should be able to send you the forms. Alternatively look up the councils web site.
Edinburgh is a visitor friendly city I'm sure you will have no problems getting around
