I will be traveling to Edinburgh, UK during the second week of June and was wondering about the weather...? |
Travel Info I want to know what kinds of clothing I should pack (I know umbrella or jacket b/c of rain) but as far as the temperature goes will I need just a few layers or my winter coat? Keep in mind that I'm from South Carolina and I'm used to 80 degree temps right now. (That's about 27 degress C) Thanks for all your help! Travel Tips Last June was during the World Cup. My mates and I were outside most of the month in beergardens and I can say for sure it was hot and sunny most of the month (shorts and T-shirt weather for us Scotts)... there wasn't much rain. For normal years the temperature is usually around the 70s. Others If you could predict the Scottish weather you would be a millionaire so come prepared for any sort of weather you can imagine but you might get lucky and actually see the sun occasionally now and then but even if it's sunny it will only be about 70 degrees Live in Glasgow A few layers will be fine, we have been quite lucky so far this year!!! A winter coat will be too heavy to carry around with you, really no need for it. It is cold at night about 6 is average just now and it could go to about 10 maybe more next month.
