I am going to Edinburgh for my birthday - any tips for cool pubs/bars?

Have to agree the Comedy Club is excellent! So head to the Omni Centre have a few drinks in Llloyds or Walkabout, head to the Comedy Club then if you fancy a dance Mood is just a stone's throw away! Plenty of eating places in the Omni too...the pubs, the Slug & Lettuce, Pizza Hut, Chinese Buffet.

The Grassmarket has loads of great bars all next door to each other most have tables outside and the atmosphere is always great.Hope you have a great birthday :-)

Jongleurs is great - its live comedy followed by a disco. Its even better if there is a crowd of you. If you are just up for a trawl round the pubs hit George Street.
