Moving to Edinburgh for 6 months from the US, where can i find a cheap place to live/roommates? And work? |
Travel Info I'd prefer to have a roommate(s) or a host family. Where can I start looking for rooming, jobs, etc? Travel Tips Gumtree is the best place to start....Go to Craigslist as well: http://edinburgh.craigslist.org/... You will love it there! I spent six glorious months there as student as well....I had a BUNAC visa and went to uni there. I frequented the areas around the Royal Mile, and also spent a lot of time in nearby Queen's Ferry. (There's great Tapas in Edinburgh!) You are so lucky. I wish I could turn back time and relive those experiences again! Source(s): I lived in the UK for more than ten years! Other Travel Tips edinburgh is not that cheap to live in. there is a site called gumtree and you look in the edinburgh link people advertise everything in there including house shares and places to rent. an example is: to stay in hall of residence at university there its 拢100.00 a week for a room. |
