Travel Info What's the cheapest grocery store chain in Edmonton? Travel Tips Well Super Store is one of the cheapest.. Yet for meat and Veggies best to go to Sobeys... Super store is pretty dirty, bad service, super busy, and dam rude people shop there too....For Quality of food (anything that is fresh) best to shop else where. Yet everyone each week鈥?every chain has their promos on and there are times when Wal-Mart, Sobeys and once in a blue moon Safeway are cheaper. Costco is a dam good one too... this is a bulk place so of course your bill will be higher due to that fact. Also they sell only quality products Brand names ONLY.. You won鈥檛 find much garbage there. Along with many other items for you home, garage and so forth. Really its not that expensive when you do a break down. Really you need to shop to get the best deals.. After a while you know where to go and who sells what at what... Sobeys and Costco are the best for food wise. Wal-mart sells out too fast鈥?Lack of good staff at there and dam does it show. Super Store is a last resort for me.. not worth saving 10 bucks.... EVERYONE has deals these days... Others superstore is by far the cheapest family of five and we shop there The Real Canadian Superstore, but it's also usually very packed and the service isn't great. I shop at sobeys or IGA they seem to be the cheapest good luck there isn't one outside of Calgary Edmonton is the most expensive place in Canada don't let the no tax fool you Well for overall deals it would have to be superstore I also buy my meat at sobeys because they are fair priced and best quality. I also shop at produce stores cause they are the freshest and generally are as fair in their pricing as their competitors and as with any shopping price compare and get into a routine you can also coupon save I started last year and I swear i saved at least $200 I hope this helps good luck out there and check your local flyers |
