Is there rail travel between Calgary and Edmonton? |
Travel Info in viarail there is edmonton only with the other companoes there is cargo only another there is only calgary isn't there rail access for passengers to travel between calgary and edmonton Travel Tips There is no rail service currently between Calgary and Edmonton. There are plans to build a high speed train like the TGV to go between Calgary and Edmonton but it wont get started till 2010 I would say. Alberta Transportation recently purchased 9 acers in Calgary right next to the CN Rail line. You can always hop on a Westjet flight or get on a Red Arrow bus to get between Calgary and Edmonton until they get the train up and running. Others It has been studied.
