Travel Info I last heard West Edmonton Mall is the biggest mall in the world, but what is the worlds largest mall in the world now? Travel Tips West Edmonton Mall not only holds the distinction of being the largest shopping mall in the world, but it also hosts the largest parking lot in the world. It hosts the world's largest Indoor waterpark and a host of other amusements including an indoor amusement park, a massive aquatic show and an ice rink. A shopping centre in Beijing has taken the title of the World's largest shopping centre, and efforts are underway in China and Dubai to build the largest mall in the world, but West Ed was just granted permission from the City of Edmonton for a massive expansion that would include more retail space, an office tower, a high rise apartment building, and more sporting facilities, which would put it back on top.
