What is the fee to enter banff national park? |
Travel Info What is the fee to enter banff national park? Travel Tips Day pass - $8.90 for an Adult or $17.80 for a family (car load) There are a lot more fees and scenarios. To check out all the details go to the link I listed, click fees on the left list, click on Search, and enter banff. Banff and Jasper are on major transportation routes through the Rockies. Technically it is free to enter, if you are traveling straight through. But if you are planning to stop at all (doesn't matter if it is 5 minutes or 5 hours or overnight) you are suppose to have the permit sold to you at the park tollbooth. Source(s): http://www.parkscanada.ca/ Other Travel Tips To the best of my knowledge, there is no fee and it is near Calgary - NOT Edmonton. Jasper is near Edmonton. $17. with a car. Just went there last month and it was well worth the price. Place is beautiful. as of today, the parkpass is $9.-- for just one adult, if there are more people in the car (up to 12) it is $18.--. those are the prizes for a daypass. you can get multiple day passes, monthly or year pass. By the way, a parkpass is good for all parks in canada. i live there www.parkscanada.ca |
