just a government issue Poto ID. as of jan 1 2008 you will need a passport.

Others
a flying ticket!!!!!!
I know you need a passport to get back into America. But I don't think you need one to get out of the country.
Picture ID and a birth certificate, but call your airline they can tell you for sure that way you wont be sitting at the airport when you plane takes off
as of December, you will need a passport, good travelling, watch out of the customary American Customes strip search!!!
As far as I know a picture ID and birth certificate are sufficient until Jan. 8/07. Anyone flying into the US will need a passport. When you're in Edmonton if you are young looking and intend to go the "club" route remember a picture ID with a birth date. Drinking age is 18.
May I be the first to say: "Hope you enjoy my city with it's multicultural diversified things to do". If coming in winter please don't forget winter boots, jacket, gloves and hat - we do get snow. Hope you enjoy your stay here".
