I need an information about the four season in Alberta? |
Travel Info Eapecially these 2 cities, Ed and Cal. Travel Tips Alberta certainly does have four seasons. Summer is very pleasant, and in Edmonton there are a huge range of festivals, including the Fringe Theatre Festival, which is the second largest alternative theatre festival on Earth (after Edinburgh). The winter is very cold and dark, since it's quite far north; it's usually about -20掳C (or zero Farenheit) during the winter, and I saw temperatures go as low as -47掳C, or about -53掳 Farenheit! The spring is depressing and everything is grey. Then, POW! everything comes to life. Fall is very pleasant, with green and gold foliage dressing up things very nicely. They have a saying in Alberta: "Here we have ten months of winter, and two months of poor sledding." It does seem like that in the winter!
