I live on the south side of Edmonton Alberta and I was just wondering...........? |
Travel Info if there are any christmas craft shows....i was to the shopping show but im talking normal craft shows for normal hoe joe people.....that dont cost the bank....can anyone let me know......thanks Travel Tips Have you checked thee community column in the Edmonton Examiner because it usually has a list of craft shows. Most of these are at the churches. I think you just missed the big one at King's College on 50th St. - they usually put on a pretty good one. Every Sat Capilano Mall has it's farmer's market but most of it is crafts - reasonable prices too. The Examiner is delivered on Wednesdays but you can also check it out on line at www.edmontonexaminer.com. Capilano mall also has a crafter's marketplace in the mall you might want to check out. Hope this helps. Others The Butterdome is having one soon. I think it starts on Thursday. Also Wed. nights at Salisbury Greenhouse in Sherwood Park, they have Indoor Farmers Market, they may have some crafts. My Sister. She loves Craft Shows. try posting a question on www.craigslist.org for your area. It's based out of San Francisco but they have individual city sites for tons of cities and you can post for free and ask there. There are many craft fairs at various malls in the city Bonnie Doon, Millbourne mall are a few that have these there is also a craft fair in beaumont and its mostly locals that enter that one fairly reasonably priced too. If all else fails the butterdome has its craft sale however the ticket price is moderate but the people I think mostly charge toomuch for items hope this helps and merry christmas I live in millwoods too and always attend and sometimes enter these fairs |
