What is the nearest university in Jasper Alberta Canada? and cheap as well..? |
Travel Info Im planning to upgade the course I finished in my country - Philippines - which is Hotel and Restaurat Management (4 years) & I'm going to stay in Jasper. Travel Tips Jasper is about half way between University of Northern British Columiba UNBC in Prince George (6 hour drive) and University of Alberta in Edmonton (5 hour drive) Source(s): http://www.ualberta.ca/ http://www.unbc.ca/ Other Travel Tips Not positive, but I suspect that the nearest university is the University of Alberta in Edmonton. That would be a heck of a ride to take every day. Closest university would be the University of Alberta in Edmonton which is approx 6 hours from Jasper - hardly commuting distance. There are several ski tour buses that offer service to Jasper from Edmonton in the winter. You actually might want to consider Nait in Edmonton or Sait in Calgary for culinary courses - check their websites for courses. Both are colleges with excellent reputations especially Nait in Edmonton. Quick note: You should know that finding a rental in either of these cities will be very difficult unless you can register for student housing early on. Good Luck |
