Is the Festival of Trees in the Edmonton Convention Centre next month just for old people? |
Travel Info It sounds like a wonderful event that raises money for the less fortunate and i think it would be great for kids (and us young Moms) too but it sounds too good to be true at only $3 entrance. Travel Tips The Festival of Trees in Edmonton run Nov. 23-26 at the Shaw Conference Centre on Jasper Ave. It absolutely isn't just for old people - people of all ages groups come to enjoy it. If you may a point of going once you'll find yourself going year after year. Others I don't know about Edmonton, but I can speak on Detroit. The festival of trees is a beautiful site to see. I went when my daughter was 6 months old. All of the beautifully decorated trees were a sight to see. If the admitance fee is trully $3, you are definitely getting a steel. FYI - Use Yahoo Search for Festival of Trees Edmonton. Choose link. Information as follows: $6 Adults $3 Seniors and Children Location: Shaw Conference Center $3 true for "old people and children". Yahoo Search Google is a wonderful thing. Here look at this site http://www.festivaloftrees.ab.ca/home.ht... It gives you all the info you need. It says adults are $6 dollars and kids are $3. There is a family night as well as a breakfast with Santa. This is an event for ALL ages...especially for kids and moms!!!! I have taken my kindergarten students there before, it's great fun :) |
