Can anyone tell we what the camar area of leduc is like? |
Travel Info we are moving to edmonton next month and have started house hunting, can anyone tell us a bit more about calmar i.e is it a nice place to live in and bring up a family? Travel Tips Leduc, is like any other place. It has it's nice and it's not so nice areas. In general, it is an industrial looking town. Calmar is however very nice, mixed with different ages, young and old. I found though that alot of young couples are starting to locate there because of the employment and wages are excellent. Others I am sorry I found this question and had to comment. Move to Leduc, not Calmar, as a youth I can tell you calmar is full of delinquents and drugs There is nothing else for the kids to do, Leduc is better and more modernized, also closer to edmonton Calmar is 20 min away from leduc Calmar is fairly quiet. It is a good location as it is close to Edmonton and at the same time Wizard Lake and Piegon Lake. To the west is good Camping near Drayton Valley and Rocky Mountian House to the South West. A good choice if you like to be out of the City. Good Luck Calmar is a great SMALL town. To purchase a house there, the prices are fairly reasonable compared to Edmonton.
