It's better to stay in a 2 or 3 stars hotel first then take your time to find the suitable apartment. I recommend you areas like Dokki, Agoza, Zamalek, Manyal, Mohandseen. Good luck Maadi is a good neighborhood, near some good school (CAC and French) .Good everyday shops. Katemya is good with the Canadian and German schools. No shop infurstructure yet as it is away from Cairo. Nothing is reasonable anymore in good areas. You will pay heavily now as rent prices have really gone up. $ devaluation and Egypt inflation at over 10%/year makes Expat living not near as attractive. Living in Cairo. |
