Travel Tips Omer, just go to khan el khalili in cairo, it is known with its valuable antiques and fine arts of ancient egyptian civilisation, go there and you will find dozens of small shops ready for your service, but take care they may take more money because you are a tourist so i advice you watching all of the shops then decide carefully which one you will choose, lower the price with them also if you want, if you know any egyptian take him with you he will be a great help! tc man, enjoy your stay Source(s): i think it is hard to find this service in any other city in cairo because you want it carved with your name specially, in other cities you will find them ready made with random things written on it, good luck! Other Travel Tips sorry but i don't understand most tourist shops in Egypt selling plates will put your name on, some you will pay extra some you wont, near the Valley of the Kings in Luxor there is a Government run masons shop which sell legitimate statues, plates etc that will gladly put your name on plates, the staff here are very helpful, can't remember name but everyone goes there with their Egyptologist Been to Cairo and Luxor in the last 18 month on seperate occasions anywhere in Cairo Mansoura is great TV |
