we have to make a special place in our hearts for all that we hold dear whether it is a place an animal or person even special things that happen to us allong lifes hard road,
what you have to remember is we are all born to die. how we live our lives is the important thing, and if any one tells you theve made it without a scratch or a memory they are lying we all have good and bad memories, thats life i remember my grandfather telling me, Life will be what you make it, you will always lose someone you love, but you will have to move on, I was about 9 when he said those words, he passed away when I was 20.I am now 65 myself, and a Great grandfather, and it was so true what he said it is hard this lfe but oh the memories i have, so in answer to your Question you have to. or you will die of a brocken heart, Source(s): From experience,

Remember, change is essential to growth... you cannot change and grow without leaving the old behind and embracing risks.
I really don't think we ever get over emotional upheavals or losses of any kind.
But hopefully,over time we adjust to a life where those people, things or places become a memory.Precious and treasured for it cannot be stolen or lost.
A memory that we can think of without suffering the pain that always comes with sudden departure or loss of people, places and things we love and will ever hold as dear as life itself.
The wound heals in its own time, but there is always a scar even if no one can see it.
With time, the loss becomes less painful.
