Things to do in Hurghada, Egypt?

I am going to Hurghada in Egypt in June. Has anybody been there and if so, is there anything you would suggest visiting or seeing while i'm there? Any info would be great.

Travel Tips

Submarine, sea trip, overday trip to Luxor or Cairo if you didn't visit before.
If you like scuba dive you will enjoy it in Hurghada. Also most of the water sports.
Don't got to desert safari and shopping will be more comfortable in hotel shops or areas the public market is not advisable unless you know prices and you have enough information about Egypt. Keep a bottle of water always with you or drink enough water. Level of salt in your food should be enough specially if you are coming from a cold weather country and you make activities in hot weather while you are Hurghada.

diving,snoarkling,disco,submar... a lot to do there,u'll have fun.i recommend steigenberger hotel(i'm not sure of the spelling)
great loads of russians and obnoxius egyptians, get over to the luxor area at least you can get to see some of egypts culture and ancient sites.
i strongly recommend a visit to El Gouna http://www.elgouna.com/ it is only 30 mins drive from Hurgada go have a drink at Tabasco pub .
in Hughada u can do some desert Safari,Beach Parties ,Souk Scanning , Sindbad Submarine , go to Giftun Island , or visit Monasteries of St. Paul & St. Anthony.

I loved it, diving, snorkling & shopping, massage, great food, & drink

...but DONT tell the rabid locals you've just arrived.
let them believe you've been there a while, or its not your first time, otherwise you will get NO peace....I've been lucky enough to travell all over the world, but this was by FAR the most hassel I've ever had from locals trying to force you into buying stuff you dont want.

There are plenty of great trips you can take from there, we did the Vallley of the kings, & the temples etc, it was AMAZING
