Travel Info If you had six days to go to Egypt where would u go? Travel Tips 1 day in cairo to visit the egyptian museum, pyramids and sphinx. Cairo is a huge city, but congested and not worth more than a single day if i only have 6 days! 3 days on a nile cruise between luxor and aswan. This is the opportunity to see the real ancient egypt as well as rural modern egypt. Temples, tombs, monuments, but that is not all, the nile cruise is simply amazing. It is a cruise of a life time, believe me. I would end by 2 days in Sharm el sheikh. Amazing beaches, best diving in the world, crazy night life, great food and I can go on for ever. The above is the ideal combination for such a short trip, If i were you, I'd push it to 8-10 days. Others the SPHYNX and other pyramids, Cairo.. OFCOURSE!! luxor because there is so much to see in the one place that you could spend two weeks there and not see it all.
