Outdoor sports in Cairo?

What can you tell me about outdoor sports in Cairo? Any chance of finding a location where I can either row (scull) or rock climb? If so, and it's some kind of business/club, could you provide the website?

Rock climbing in the Valley of the Kings here is forbidden. but the walk over the Ridge is fantastic and so are the views of the nile, you can visit the tombs and temples, go running around the suger cane fields.and the villages without getting run over by a vehicle, maybe a donkey.
you can sail that's if the police allow you to, and if yuo can find a generous guy to borrow his Felluca,, we have horse, donkey or camel rides, all the villages have a football team
as does Egypt they won the Africa cup last year, that was quite exciting, most of the business mens clubs are called coffee shops where you can sit have a sisha play doms or backgamon even out on the street that is my club, so i suppose you can call that an outside sport. as for the real outdoor clubs in Cairo i am sure you will get your answer, these are the main sports. here in Luxor as brought to you by Source(s): www.myegypt.co.uk
