Travel Info If you've been to Egypt, what was the place you ever been and why it's the best? Travel Tips marsa matrouh still my 1st choice Others Yes , I've been to Egypt. Spent a year on the Gaza Strip, and didn't like any of it. The smell, (Stench .) was a continuous phenomenon. Theft was a way of life for the Egyptians, and the ffflies, mosquitoes, scorpions and spiders only added to the misery. tourist spots. the best place for me was the valley of the workers, it was amazing. the tomb paintings were so evocative. the houses made it all seem so close. hotel the mena house, classy elegant and quiet and great service. relaxation on a fellucca on the nile. or a cruise ship on the sundeck. very different but both amazing. i love being on the Nile. wow factor the pyramids and the museum amazing stunning superlatives are not enough. best of all, sititng with lots of friends in a coffee shop to all hours. ohhhhhhhh i miss it. I've been to Egypt, the place I liked the most was Alex - it's beautiful city with white old buildings, the sea you can almost touch and fresh air is so diferent than in other parts of country:) Alex has a great history too and I could feel it when I was walking there with my better half :) Greets My best place is actually places, it is what you are into: If you are into history, go visit Abu Simbil temple. If you are into diving, go visit Ras Mohamed reef. If you are into desert safari, go to Khargha oasis. If you are into beaches, go to Marsa Alam. If you are into romance, go have a felluca in the Aswan Nile. If you are into traffic & polution, go visit ........ CAIRO!! Go on a Nile cruise. Mr. Beer not cider, are u sure u went to Egypt, or was thrown somewhere in a desert? I dont think we normally see scorpions in the streets?Your head must've been really high when you were on this question. Make it cider next time. |
