Has anyone entered into a contract marriage with an egyptian man? |
Travel Info I did not want to close this question although the answers i received from both wisehead and egyptian princes were very helpful. Can anyone tell me of any websites that i can enter into to find out more information-preferably english. Travel Tips oh sweetie do you really want to keep punishing yourself? I always say "if he's poor and younger to u, then all he is after is ur citizenship" but not everyone believes me... Marriage is not a game. good luck yes I think I can, there鈥檚 a web site called www.luxor4you.com its run by ex pats mostly British, and there鈥檚 lots of info there about contract marriages or orfi marriages as they call them. I am afraid I cant tell you what that means I don鈥檛 know, except that it seems to be the kind of contract that brits make when they marry someone out there. You can ask questions on the forums and I think you will get all the help you need there. Hope it helps. I know quite a few brits married to and since divorced from Egyptians. I do also know English women who have taken Egyptian men to court to get back money with varying levels of success. and don鈥檛 beat your self up or allow others to do so. these men are often professionals at this. they know exactly what to say and which buttons to push; they are extremely clever and totally unscrupulous. I know one young man who has married an English lady, he used to work on felluccas as a boat boy, he now drives round in a new car dripping with jewellery and flashing cash left and right. when he told me about this lady he said to me Sabrina this is just business I don鈥檛 love her, but I have to say things and do things so I can get money. I can鈥檛 live like this any more. I couldn鈥檛 believe any one could be so heartless and I thought I had known this lad and was fond of him.(like a fav nephew) That he thought his behaviour was acceptable was such a shock to me. So like I said you are not the first, I guess we brits are just too na茂ve and trusting.
