How much does a passport cost to go to egypt and what all do u have to do to go there? |
Travel Info I'm ingaged to a guy that is in egypt and me and him want to get together so that we can get married and for me to move up with him. so please anyone please help me out!!!! Travel Tips Everyone is telling you right about the price of the passport if you are in USA. It is very nice that you are engaged to an Egyptian man, but please take precaution. I am from the USA and married to an Egyptian man. I would advise you to go to Egypt and stay with him for some time before making a fast decision (especially if you have never spent any time with him face to face). You might see a few problems staying with him in Egypt for a while without marrying him fast, but there are ways around that too (he knows the ways to get around this). I hope things work out for the both of you, and if he is like most of the Egyptians, then you have you a GREAT husband on your hands, and keep him in your eyes forever! Good luck to you. Oh you will just need your passport and you can get the visa at the airport when you arrive there for only $15 (if you are from USA). You will probably have to buy a 2 way ticket because you are not married to him yet, and most airlines will not let you go on a one way because they expect that you will be leaving Egypt if you go as tourist. You got correct info to get a passport....go to trvel.state.gove and/or go to your local post office to fill out a passport application. You also ned to apply for a visa to enter Egypt. the first website listed elow is info on visas to Egypt. and the second one is how to contact the Embassy of Egypt in Washinton, D.C. I think you need to contact them and ask what kind of visa you need...their visa page does not give information on the different kind of visas...like for tourists only and for someone like you who wants to live there.
