Egyptians...Would you marry a non-Egyptian?

Travel Info
Why? or Why not?

Travel Tips
People are the same all over the world. Love who you love. Marry who you love. Let's forget about comparing cultures and pointing out differences. If you go into a relationship constantly pointing out differences, then you are almost dooming it to failure. If there is true love in a relationship race and culture does not matter. The key to any successful marriage is not culture - it is COMMUNICATION, TRUST, HONESTY. I would worry about finding these qualities more than I would worry about what race, religion or culture someone is from. Allah hafiz.

I personally would not agree to marry a non-Egyptian because of all the legal issues and problems. The kids suffer a lot. My mother in law (God rest her soul) was Hungarian, and I was hesitant at first to marry my husband because he's half Hungarian. I think it was because I was worried that he and my kids would have divided loyalties growing up. I'm a complete fanatic when it comes to issues of intima2 and loyalty to Egypt, which some may think is silly. However, when I got to know my husband and my mother in law better, my worries concerning that issue disappeared. They were both 100% Egyptian at heart!
Anyway, that's just me. When you are in love, you are blind and deaf to all except your own heart. You would probably marry a green martian if you loved him enough!

Edit
Just curious: why did Ismaily rules change to olympic electric? Why not shaghaaaaal universal, or even fresh?! I guess you won't be president after all!
Let me say at first that, principles of the Egyptian society have changed alot lately. Economical and political situation have led the society to a clear deterioration point, which has affected the morals among Egyptians.

I'm Egyptian man and intending to marry a Tunisian girl. I choosed her freely, not under any pressure of any type except adoring her direct and straight personality.

If you look for clear and straight personality, you'll suffer alot to find among Egyptians. I'm Egyptian and sorry to say that but it's mostly true.

Marrying a non-Egyptian is a big problem, in many cases it doesn't last. Causing problems about rising children, country of residence and cultural differences (May be religion also). I think these worries will be so much presented in a marriage of Egyptian to a Western foreigner!

If the marriage is between Egyptian and a non-Egyptian Arab, it'll be less. But understanding each others and discussing every little detail frankly, from the beginning will save this relation.

Bottom line: It doesn't matter where your partner comes from?! But, to what degree both of you are willing to adopt the best from each others' life!
Yeah, Ruby. Anything!!! It doesn't matter. What matters to me is that I get married before I turn 80.
80 is the time I set for myself to be ready " financially-wise"

Edit:

Farah, I am trying to make some money in a decent way. I decided that I will turn my id into an advertising space. I'll put names of company brands and change them every few days. Hopefully, some company will notice me and give me money for the effort. Or else, I'll change this idea and think of something else.
Olympic Electric .....sakhan el 3omr el tweel.
I already did.
why? No reason, that's what happened.
Yes why not!
