Travel Info Is it hot in eygpt at the minute i go thursday for two weeks? Travel Tips It really depends which part...Alexandria has a climate similar to hotter parts of Europe but bearable. As for Sharm it is very hot at the moment......Make sure you bring lots of high factor suncream-preferably waterproof,a hat,light clothing...though not too skimpy&a good pair of sunglasses!! Keep out of the sun between 11am - 3pm,drink lots&lots of water....i do not advise any alcohol during the day!! Apply aftersun with insect repelent & also bring some additional sprays as the mozzies are out in force at the moment!!! Have a safe journey,welcome.Takecare&you will have a great holiday!! Others yeah very hot wear light color clothes try to o away from the direct sun but you will enjoy LOL Yes it is very much hot, the heat there is very dry heat and it makes you feel like your body is on fire. Enjoy your trip, just dress lightly. been to egypt 2 times i think it depends where in egypt exactly but over all its burning up there specially cairo some kind!!yes!!
