If we All Egyptians love Egypt that Much, then why don't we stay in it ? |
Travel Info & even when we go to it on holidays we get annoyed with some of the things that was normal for us before we left it! Travel Tips What does loving Egypt have to do with anything, u can love yr country when u r living abroad. Sometimes certain circumstances pushes u to leave it for a while. (Education, experience, better income, higher posts). There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to be a better person, even our religion Islam urges u to seek a better life and praise Allah (SWT) for all his blessings. Have u ever been homesick? why do you think they call it that? If u love yr country u will feel what i am trying to say, moving to another country doesn't mean u hate it (it is not one way or the other - It is not black or white). As for being annoyed when u visit yr country, it's because deep down u wish yr country could be better and improve in many ways, besides even people living in Egypt all the time are annoyed by the same things. So please don't generalize or categorize people according to yr opinions. Edit: No land man, R u speaking English? if the answer is yes then it is rubbish coz i don't understand what u r trying to say. Others I think you should just speak for yourself and not generalize. Personally, I'd never ever consider immigration as an option, no matter what. Other than that, people have to go abroad sometimes for economic reasons, to get a degree, or even for a short holiday. However, eventually most return. When I'm away from Egypt I miss everything: the crowds, the loud voices, even the traffic jams. I swear that every time the plane starts to land I have tears welling up in my eyes. I'd even kneel and kiss the ground in the airport if I was not positive I'd get stares and weird looks. This may seem to be an exaggeration, but it's not. That feeling of home sickness can be so overwhelming sometimes, that you actually start to feel physically sick. Last time I was away for just 6 months I was so homesick and desperate to hear a word of Arabic, that I had tears come to my eyes after seeing an Arabic satellite channel in a Syrian restaurant (we didn't receive Arabic channels at home). When I finally returned to Egypt I was actually full of smiles the first time I got stuck in a traffic jam. So to be honest, I can't relate to your question at all. some people has greater tendencies to forget who they really are. i'm not going anywhere, i love to travel all over the world but i wanna stay in my country Egypt, i cant stand to live somewhere else even if it's better than Egypt... Egyptian butterfly Not all of us are willing to leave Egypt. Those who do not stay, sometines leave to get a better life sometimes out of reasons that are, in their minds, stronger than love of homeland, such as love of own kids. Only low people do that as they feel not acceptable and not respected among their people, so they try to pretend they belong to somewhere else. Usually they have the feeling that the other country is the best in everything specially money, freedom, food, shallow life ..etc. Low people find a suitable low life. It's like (pH) in chemistry. |
