Does size really matter?

Why do people in Egypt treat my motor-bike like it doesn't exist?
They stop if a car is coming, but they pass if my motor-bike is coming as if it is invisible.
Do I have to kill someone with it to prove to them that size doesn't matter?

you know i love your sense of humour too, but sorry i am going to inject a serious note. it has been shown in england that drivers often do not notice motorbikes and so do not stop for them. so over here bikers are advised to always try to enhance their visibility with Fluorescent strips in day or reflective strips at night and they keep their lights on all the time, really be careful. sorry i guess its a maternal thing, i just worry about people. sorry

Maybe they are not used to motor-bikes and don't really know what the rules are for them. I guess you really need to wear a flashy helmet to get their attention.
Because if you live in Cairo people drive like maniacs!
