Tours To Mt. Sinai From Alexandria & Cairo? |
Travel Info I'll be in Alexandria and Cairo in October and thought it might be nice to take a trip to see and climb Mt. Sinai. Can anyone suggest a tour company for this short trip -- and provide a link to their website if known? Thanks! Travel Tips I will not suggest names. You can find easily a good company doing that trip. You planned right but you should visit the monastery when you come down. Check for the opening time it's usually from 9 AM to 12 PM, not everyday. St Catherine is amazing and small like a village. Don't miss to visit the monastery. Others lol again @ livnat are u gonna copy paste that answer on every question? heheh can i ask what u wish to accomplish by this? just curious best thing is to get to dahab and do the trip from there, well worth doing sunrise is fantastic, make sure you take a blanket with you it gets mighty cold up there, they rent blankets at the summit but at extortionate prices. bus turminal is by the train station in cairo to sharm & dahab. but best fly to sharms.
