or maybe they started building the other 2 pyramids?

or maybe they spent the rest of the week partying till they got wasted...?? :D

i thk the slaves work till death bcos it took so many many years to build the pyramids and even after completion of one they will start building another one.
Slaves did not build pyramids in Egypt. There where professional engineer types and drafted labours, during the dry season the pharaohs like to put farmers to work because it keep them busy and out of trouble.
Contrary to popular belief, the pyramids were built mostly by the Egyptians, themselves, not slaves. When the Nile inundated the land every year, thousands of people were idle because their farms were under water. Public works projects like temples and pyramids were a way to keep them occupied.

The skilled craftsmen worked year-round, while the laborers worked for a few months at a time.

A pyramid or tomb was never completed until the Pharaoh died. It was bad luck to call it finished while they were still alive (it would cause their death).
