Travel Info What is the best time of year to travel to Egypt? Travel Tips DONT go now....VERY crowded as the wealthier middle easterners take their holiday now. And VERY hot, sticky, bad air pollution (most of the time) now it is the seans there. Wait till say October, thru Early decemember, or best yet, After the new year from mid Jan to April. Flights are also cheaper then, and so are hotels etc etc. Still crowded but not quite so bad....If u need a driver or hotel/apartment let me know. As I live there. about 1/2 the year. Others depends how hot you like it, i love it best in april and october when the temperatures in the day are often quite hot around 30-35C but at night they are a lot cooler, in the teens. After oct it cools off considerably until in jan its quite cold at night, evening needing a coat but the temperature often rises to around mid 20's in th emoddle of the day. but between april and october the temperature rises dramatically to the 40's and higher and at night remains in the high 20's. April, October, December in general Anything else depends on which city or which activity you are interested in.
