Can u give me some introduction about Bedouin? |
Travel Info Can u give me some introduction about Bedouin? Travel Tips originally a nomadic people who could travel with their herds from the Sinai to most of the neighbouring countries, and where stuck in the country they where in due to borders been put up i said countries. I lived with the Bedouin people in Jordan Aqaba desert and in the Sinai at Dahab, 3 months each visit, Others This should help, I got it from Wikipedia: Bedouin, derived from the Arabic badaw墨 ( 亘丿賵賷), a generic name for a desert-dweller, is a term generally applied to Arab nomadic pastoralist groups, who are found throughout most of the desert belt extending from the Atlantic coast of the Sahara via the Western Desert, Sinai, and Negev to the Arabian Desert. It is occasionally used to refer to non-Arab groups as well, notably the Beja of the African coast of the Red Sea. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/bedouin... Bedouins are people who lives in the desert environmnet. They almost have their own language, their own code of laws and ethical standards. They are tribal. some live in Sinai, others live in the western desert. Because we are now living in the age of discrimination and racism, you'll find a lot of people bash the hell out of them, because of too many reasons. The first answer is typical Israeli opinion of Bedouins. They are Arabs who live deep in the dessert, later when many of them get in contact with cities still they keep the identity to be Bedouins. No one was ever against (Egyptian Bedouins). Our enemies try to use them as they did in other places. They are poor and not well educated and very few of them may deal with the devil. The majority are beloved Egyptians who were always great fighters and willing always to die for their land when it was stolen. Best regards for the good ones only i do not understand why beck's answer is typical Israeli he only quoted the encyclopedia.... Ahh a thought has struck me has the first answer been removed? |
