Are there any travel agents out there that can help with a trip to Cairo,Egypt in September around the 15th? |
Travel Info I can't pay for the ticket all at once and wondered if there was anyway to pay for it in installments. I was looking for something around $700-$950 total. Last time I went, I found a ticket for $783. It would be great if I could find this again. Thanks! Travel Tips Ok. I will give you a straight answer. I am in Indiana and just purchased a ticket on Northwest for Feb 2008 (under $700 one way). Right now Northwest is cheapest, but unfortunately you will have a 12 hour layover in Amsterdam and arrive in Cairo at 2 am. But minor inconvenience. I flew Air France and Egypt Air before, but their prices have drastically increased in the last month. Northwest (KLM) will fall right in your price range. But you must act quickly if you are planning on flying is September - the earlier you book international the better. About the second part of your question - the financial aspect, most reputable travel agencies will reserve the ticket for you and hold the price with at least 10% downpayment. This will lock you in to a good airfare. Then you can make payments to them according to their individual policies. You will probably not be confirmed on the flight untill it is paid in full, so the sooner you can pay it off the better. I'm sure there are many travel agents in Texas who can help you. Just get a phonebook and start calling them. Anyway, good luck. Mr. T : I like your reasonable answers I like the 12 hour layover and actually its just over 10, in Amsterdam, there is a hotel in the airport for about 125 bucks for the day. or for even less u can take a bus tour of the city. I thought it was great, saw the Anne Frank house, windmills, u know the tourist kind of thing but it was fun. Schipol airport is a decent place if u have to sit around. Wireless internet. but not free, food good, but not cheap...but its Much better then Eygpt air. But to be honest if u having a hard time with the ticket cost, what are u gonna do for money while youre there? Travellerspoint.com has really cheap hotels though. I stayed at the Lotus hotel 2x kind of dumpy, but cute still and right down town. If u need a driver, let me know i have a good one there, We bought a ticket from an egyptian travel Agency, here is the phone number you might call, they should send you the reciept by mail. they are in New Jersey. we got it for $950 like a month ago, it will be on Egypt Air, Direct flight. by the way, one month ago, it was almost impossible to get a flight, it's the high season. specially the month of Ramadan will be in September. otherwise, you can search online Alitalia and chzek airlines are much cheaper to you will suffer, transit and waiting. it's your choice. the agency number is . 201-792-8811 you can also check online you will find 7$$ on Alitalia Airlines.
