Has anyone gone on a cruise to Egypt and gotten a VISA there? |
Travel Info I am going on a Costa Cruise and it stops in Egypt. I know I need a VISA to get into Egypt but was told I could get it when I arrive there. I was hoping someone could tell me how long it takes to get the visa on the spot once you arrive. Should I get it beforehand or is it not a big deal to get it once I arrive? Travel Tips Just to back up what the other answerers have said, there is absolutly no hassle in getting your visa on arrival in Egypt Whether arriving by plane or cruise ship at any city or a major resort you can get your visa on the spot. It is absolutly no big deal takes about 3-5 minutes,max. You are going to love Egypt! I'm sure a cruise stop is not going to be enough for you and you will want to come back. There is just so much to see and experience. So relax and enjoy. Others Dear , obtaining visa upon arrival in Egypt is so easy , and may be it will be done on the ship before it docks on the port . welcome to Egypt and enjoy you vacation there. an egyptian living in usa There is no problem with a Visa upon entering Egypt. They are issued at immigration in the airports or at the borders. I am sure that the Cruise line will have all those things taken care of for you so don't sweat the small stuff and just have a great time. good luck btdt Visa on entry, beware of the hassle. have a nice tomb wander stay out of papyrus shops alibaster and perfume, cos this is where the guides make there money if they ask 300 offer 100. etc. the tombs and temples are a fixed price so no negotiating, Mafish feluse for the guide ( no money) have a nice time in Egypt, asalam alaycwm |
