Can anyone recommend good salsa clubs in Cairo? |
Travel Info Specifically, I'm looking for somewhere to dance June 25 - July 3 preferrably with advanced or professional level dancers. Also, what does a girl wear to a salsa club in Egypt that won't get her in trouble? (I'm an LA salsera, so anything goes here.) Travel Tips This is the best salsa you can ever find in egypt http://www.hormel.com/multibrand/images/... but take care cause ladies won't be able to handle it Others Welcome :) i'm a salsera too u have two places in Egypt 1st La Piste which i recommend...we have salsa night at la piste on monday and wednesday...i donno the address exactly...but it's in Mohandesin, Mohy el Din Street... i can bring u the address details later... 2nd u have Jazz up it works on friday and sunday...hehehe n i dont remember the address too cuz i dont go there i prefere la piste...but i can ask for you... so when u come contact me n i'll help u to go...maybe i'll come with u... we wear anything when we go there...anything u just feel it's comfortable for you to dance.. Egyptian salseraaaaaaaaaa butterfly answer is right , Cairo Jazz up is in Nile Hilton . La piste is in Mohie El din abu el ezz St. in the building just next to Radio Shack in Mohandessin . best of luck I'm from L.A. and love salsa dancing. I also love Egypt, have been there and will go again in January, and will go again several times in my lifetime. What I'm curious to know is.... if you're in Egypt (or any other country), why go salsa dancing when you can always do that here??? Personally, I prefer to soak up the Egyptian culture while I'm there. L.A. is full of salsa, I can do that here. Grew up with salsa in the home, dad was a musician & composer for appx 30 yrs. I love salsa dancing, and it's everywhere in L.A. But when in Rome..... wink. |
