It's a country with a rich, fascinating history. Its antiquities are what draw many non-Egyptians to visit Egypt, and once they get there, they get the very pleasant surprise of experiencing the people. Egyptians are the bomb!

Many people think that all there is to see there are the pyramids and nothing else but sand, but they are unaware of: the museums, The Pharaonic Village (my FAVORITE museum!!!), Nile cruises, BEAUTIFUL resorts, wonderful sea life, the city nightlife culture, shisha, Turkish coffee, Nile dinner cruises (not the same as a Nile cruise), the Red Sea, the Mediterranean Sea, etc. Source(s): Been there, loved it, will go again in January 2008, inshaallah.

i want to travel to egypt to see the pyrimids and ride on jay z back i mean the camels back.. egypt whorshipped alot of pegan gods and that is what lead to its destruction..
I have been taught to believe that it is a desert filled with pyramids and Egyptian people...
I, personally, think that women's rights are neglected there, but this based on what I've heard.
