Actually, there is absloutely nothing in life that's worth living or waking up for.
However, we try to make our lives better. Life is hard enough without our continuous attempts to make it sad and depressive.
I like the fact that I wake up in the morning for "hope", hope that I may one day in the future have actually anything to live for. Hope that one day I will actually be happy.
The thing that keeps me going is the fact that I stopped "carrying myself so seriously". I am nothing but a trivial person on the side or life. I may not end to be any one important in life. I may die before I achieve any of my dreams, but deep inside me , I know that maybe Allah has good feelings for silly old me.
And I know that when I die, people will actually smile rather than be upset. They will smile because they'll remeber all the goofy things I did.
I say "smile and make people around you smile. Always be cheerful even if there is nothing to be cheerful about. Derive your happiness from the happiness of others"
Make fun of everything, everyone and yourself especially.
God and family - everything else is just icing on the cake.
