Travel Info i am from hong kong, believe in Buddhism. my boyriend is Egyptian, believe in Islam. we love each other, but can it ever work? Travel Tips You may love each other, respect each other and all your parents agree and even encourage you, but Islam allow Muslim man to marry only Muslim, Christian, Jew female. If you are not one of the three, the rules still the same. Even if he marry you anywhere or by anyway it'll not be a marriage from the Islamic view. One more thing there is no difference in this case if he is a good Muslim or bad Muslim, it applies to all the same way. Sorry to disappoint you, but I just bring the truth clear in front of you. Others Not unless you or him converts. For my understanding, if u going to marry him, u need to change believe to Islam....and no more showing hairstyles and no more pork....are u ready for this kind of changes? Yeah I guess. what harijanti says It can but remember Muslims are not easy and very controlling with women.They believe in Submission,do you think you can submit to him? Dear, You love a boy who is Muslim that is something very good. As far as this problem is concern. You can very well marry with him but yes you are required to the Most peaceful & peace lover religion Islam. You are most welcome. Regarding submission, Dear Muslim dont believe in any kind of submission. Islam says you can very well talk & disccuss every issue of life & Man's Govt. is not allowed in islam. Woman & man both have equal rights to live a happy life with.
