Travel Info Do you think Hatshepsut's(sorry if mispelled) mummy has been found? Travel Tips Yes I watched Zahi Hawas yesterday with Farok Hosny Minister of Culture at TV talking abut this discovery. Others yes, i read earlier on y news that dna linked the mummy to her. thanks for westerner Egyptologists they did the all of the work It needs to be discussed by experts. Now they can tell many things if it's sure. I have seen the photos of the mummy, it's terrific just need some flesh and it will look like she died yesterday. They said she ruled Egypt for 25 years and died at the age of 50 and they were confused with 2 mummies one of them for her. Same for (Tutmoses) we should follow the last opinion on that topic. i would like to see the evidence exactly before i come to any conclusions. For instance how definite is it that the tooth belonged to Hatsheput. There was also something about the DNA being compared to her grandmother. what about that? How Good is the sample of DNA that was collected from all of these samples. How many labs did the tests to confirm this evidence. why has the Egyptian council changed their mind regarding DNA samples. They said before they were not going to allow DNA to be taken until technology had progressed alot further. i guess i just have too many questions and i am a sceptic. i would love to know that the information is correct, not least because it appears she dies of cancer. which puts paid to the mystery of her death |
