From JFK in NYC u fly non-stop to Cairo everyday of the week I think. From most other Major cities you fly either to Amsterdam, Paris, or Frankfurt then to Cairo. I fly every other month or so there, and I go LAX to Amsterdaym, then to Cairo on Northwest/KLM I've found its much cheaper than Delta or any of the other carriers. From LAX its usually about 1000-1200 although right now the fares are higher for the summer....if u Really need to save money u can try Aeroflot to Moscow then to Cairo, but i dont recommend it. Enjoy your trip.. the cost have 2 parts, cost of the flight and cost for your visit and trips here inside Egypt. about the flight, you have 2 choice:- 1st direct flight from NYC to Cairo it is almost around 10 hours this more expensive about 1000 u$. depend on the period. 2nd make flight with one stop in Europe, this will be cheaper but sure longer depend on which city in Europe you will have the stop. second part of the cost i can help a lot in this part cause it is part of my job, but also this will depend on how many nights and days you plan spend here, which level of accommodation you would like to have. if you also will have any other join with you. if you would like to get more details you can contact back and hope i can give you a good offer, also you can check the website and hope it could give u an idea. www.hophoptravel.com I flew from Detroit to Amsterdam to Cairo last year....two times...one was almost $1200.00 the second time was during the summer...that was slightly higher.
