We have to agree that driving in Egypt... Specially cairo is a mess... but its unfair to blame it solely on the drivers who are technically speaking great drivers when it comes to controlling their vehicle... many factors contribute to this phenomenon I state a few.

1- Crowded streets
2- Poor road conditions.
3- Poor traffic planning and poor overall city planning which require people to travel across the city every day whether for Business, entertainmemt or study.
4- Poor law enforcment and non functioning follow up systems.
5- Corrupt traffic police officers and bad administration.
6- Limited and uncompetent public transport systems.
7- General ignorance of the benefits of traffic rules.
8- And last but not least the selfishness and ill manners of the drivers who think that by disobeying the rules they will arrive faster... while the opposite is true most of the time.

cuz they are always in hurry , and life stresses enervate them more and make them drive so fast.sadly to say.

look,ppl are always in hurry and nervous and the weather is really hot....and not all of them drive bad,the majority is taxi and microbus drivers...the are soo careless on the streets...
One has to keep up with the flow of traffic, and in the cosmopolitan cities of Egypt, the flow runs every which way. Everyone drives aggressively, so even if you don't wanna drive aggressively, you have to just to keep up and get from point A to point B.
cause they don`t know how to drive .
