I have included this passage from the US Department of State's webpage re: travel to Egypt. I also included the website to the US Dept of State for travel, and the Egyptian embassy where you can obtain your visa. I travel frequently and find that it a lot easier to send your passport with the application and money to the embassy. They will affix the visa and mail your passport back to you. When you fly into Cairo you will be in line for a long time for your visa if you don't get it ahead of time. A visa is if you are going to live there; not just visit. I don't think you need a visa to go as a tourist. passport: yes... visa: it depends on what country your passport is issued in... If you plan to live there for a while then you would require to have a visa. If all you plan to do is visit then a passport is what you would need. |
