What do you think about...? |
Travel Info the way Mohamed Naguib is being treated even after his death? I think it's bad enough the way the man was treated in his life, in addition to the way his sons were treated. But to have him completely ignored like this even after all these years ... What does that tell you? Do you ever imagine how Egyptian history could have been different if things had happened in a different way back then? Travel Tips I don't agree at all of what happened to him and it was one of the black points in the revolution history like many other black points, but I think after his death he start to be mentioned again at least in all documentaries and history books. The main problem was at the time of Nasser and Sadat couldn't change it. I think Mubarak visited him in hospital in his last days. About one son I just knew he had many problems with his father and he was poor like his father in his last days. Any way he was a respectable man that's they got him as the president to add credibility. He was a man of kind concepts, but the truth he wasn't politician like most of the team who ruled. Edit : Documents may be unrecoverable specially that Nasser and the rest were afraid that Naguib could have come back by the people. They knew people loved him. So it may be really lost or whatever, but I prove my opinion with the subway stations Mubarak, Sadat, Nasser, Naguib. He is mentioned in all documentary films about revolution and presidents of Egypt and all new books. He is now since many years in the history books of school unless they removed him again. Others I totally agree with u . I think he did a very bad fault by joining those idiots , and they paid him back by showing him their real intent . may Allah give him what he deserves It's an ancient Egyptian tradition... every dynasty has to try to wipe off every thing regarding the previous one... It happened with Hatshepsut... Was it Tuhotmosis III who tried to wipe out all her figures and names off the walls of the temples... So I guess Naguib was considered by the rest of the Free Officers a breed apart... which I guess he really was... and for some reason they are just trying to obliterate his memory... But maybe within a couple of thousands of years... his "Mummy"... ooops I mean his legacy will be rediscovered |
