Travel Tips Yahooo , Egyptians are just Kind except those who trying to sell you some thing Ohh My Lord they are bothers too bad to meet one of them , except of that every thing is cool and peace like heaven , I am talking about Sharm El Sheikh , Bill Clinton was here , and he admired the place very well and told the Egyptians President he wish if he can live here . . Egypt is Cool not expensive at all . Others Er... I think they were deluded (or at least the ancients were...). Sorry, but I'm just not in touch with the spiritual realm, so when I read about their belief of the gods, I was just like... "bleh!" I am assuming modern day Egypt and Egyptians. I think Egyptians are the best cooks on Earth. I gained 6 lbs this past April. As for the Egyptians I think they are more aggressive than Americans. I didn't like being approached in the street while walking or resting by people who wanted to sell me things. Especially junky things and souveniers. The people I met who didn't sell things were sooooo nice and friendly and helpful. I didn't meet anyone who was rude and unfriendly and delightful. I went from Cairo to Abu Simbel all alone and had a great time. Everyone was nice to me. But I hated being pestered all the time. I like a holiday to be peaceful. The only way I could get some peace was by putting my iPod earplugs in my ears. I didn't turn the music on but I just walked around with them in my ears. So if you know people who bug tourists, tell them to stop. It just makes us not want to bother. Otherwise I felt the most safe in Egypt. Safer walking the streets, safer walking on a desolate area, safer in empty stores. I just felt safe with the Egyptians. Egypt a great country with the greatest ever history egyptians bos hwa el media mebawza akhla2 egyptian I think I am very sad today. Too sad to answer your question. Egypt is great place to visit and live for sometime. every person I met who lived in Egypt for a while wanted to go back there again. Egyptians. this one is very difficult to answer. because if you read history you will find that Egyptians are the most diversed culture/society in the world. I mean that people came from different backgrounds but they are all mixed together. not like in new worlds (US, Canada,...etc.) you find immigrants from different countries sticking together and not mixing that much. I may be wrong of course. ok good things the ancient sites, pyramids tombs and temples.... amazing astonishing. the history and artifacts in the museum wonderful to see and astonishing. the people friendly, fun to be with the pace of life so slow and relaxed, the Nile.sooo beautiful. i love it so much. the weather.......... wonderful, yes even in summer for me... well you try living in all this rain in England. the cakes in the shops in Cairo......... yummy. the bad things. the pollution and litter, i hate to see the litter in the streets in the canals and even in the Nile. the constant and never ending nagging from sales people it can drive you crazy. i cannot walk down the street without the cry of tax, fellucca or calesh, just one minute, come in my shop, etc etc constantly following me. it is wearing and exhausting to constantly smile at rude people and say politely no thank you, when what you want to say is go away and leave me alone. men who think that a European/American woman is a quick way to find money/visas via sex and there are many in all walks of life. overall i love your country and your people, but there are many who find the last things i mentioned too much for even for one visit. this is an honest and i hope fair answer of my opinion, but i know i will get thumbs down for the criticisms because some people will not accept any criticism. which is short sighted really. hey ministry whats up? |
