Good Psychologist+Psychiatrist recomendation in Cairo? |
Travel Info There is someone I know in need of seriously good medical attention in the field of psychiatry. I don't want her to end up in a cruddy institution that will not have a planned schedule for the day and treated in the way my husbands family members who are doctors say the mentally ill are treated. Unfortunately, this womans problems are so severe and magnified by the fact that her family is unhelpful to say the least (umm, they're insisting she try to work things out w/ her twisted spouse who beats her + doesn't provide for his family. I'm not from egypt and don't understand why she can't just go to the police, get the jerk arrested and move on in life. It's not as if she's relying on his income because he only has debt! my husband claims it's cultural and "things don't work that way" b.c. the husband can always lie and make up a story + say he beat her b.c. he caught her in bed with another man + ruin her future????
