Has anyone been to sharks bay in egypt? |
Travel Info im going here soon whats it like there, im staying in the royal rojana resort anyone been here Travel Tips Last time I was there was something like 5 years ago... I don't know that lpace you intend to stay in but shark bay used to be a little less sofisticated than Naama... I guess it has the feel of Old sharm... the way it should have stayed... So if you are a lover of nature and calm... I guess shark Bay is the place for you. On the other hand Naama Bay is mostly 5 stars resorts... too artificial for my taste... but it has its fans. I used to go there in the 80s when it was still a virgin place and camp by the sea side on the beach and walk miles to get potable water... Ah those were the good old days. Others I don't know about Royal rojana. It's quite new I think, but I can tell you that you are very close to the airport and near to Neamaa bay where all the action. If you have time you should go to Neamaa bay by taxi in the evening or try to have dinner there. it's like 10 minutes from Sharks bay. You may find a company who organise dessert evening or dinner in the dessert which can be nice for you. I don't recommend you to go in normal dessert safari at this time. You can also make a sea trip or try the glass boat. Welcome in Egypt and good luck never been to this resort before but all resorts in shark bay are nice and good... Egyptian butterfly who are addicted to sharm el sheikh I live here in Sharm el Sheikh, so i hope i can give you a little information about the place. Sharks Bay is a nice area a little north of Na'ama Bay, the main commercial and nightlife part of Sharm el Sheikh. It is a very nice area, with plenty of hotels and very pleasent beaches. It has been built up rapidly and is no longer an isolated or pristine area. It is only a few minutes by car to Na'ama Bay, so at night you can easily go there for dinner or a night out. The Royal Rojana, as far as i know, is a pretty nice hotel, so don't worry about that. There is also a hotel called the Rotana, so if that's the one you mean, then that is also a very nice place to stay. A very nice beach from what i've heard. I hope all of this helps. http://www.goredsea.com/en_sharm-el-shei... |
