Travel Info i just need a random city- like the closest one to the pyramids thats on a map Travel Tips With respect,I really find it difficult to believe that someone that is old enough to use this site does not know the answer to this question. But it really does sound as if you don't! If I were your parents I would seriously query the teachers and school responsible for teaching you history. As the pyramids have been in the news of late regarding the controversial new list of Wonders of the World it really makes me wonder where and why you have been hiding. The most well known pyramids of Egypt are located in the outer suburbs of Cairo. The one time village of Giza is now taking on the proportions of a city itself. So it could be debated whether it is Giza or Cairo. However I would say Cairo if you are using this information for homework. It may be time to stop worrying about boys,starsigns and being awesome and concentrate on your studies more. Getting the answers to homestudies this way will not help in the long run and you will end up flipping burgers.
