How can i write my address in a form? |
Travel Info I want to buy something through the net and it will be sent to me by mail. So can anyone tell me what should i write in the: Street address: , street address(2): , city: , Proviance: i live in Egypt, Alexandria, Elibrahimia, lagita street should i write Alexandria in proviance/state and Elibrahimia in city or should i write Alexandria in city and leave proviance/state empty or what should i do? Travel Tips It must be dealt with from the local to the General... Street address 1 and 2 are just two lines to write your House number and street name just in case one line is not enough... Street address 2 should be optional. El Ibrahimia is the district you live in within the City... it should come next... if there is no field for it in the form you can add it to the street address. Your city is Alexandria of course. Province or State should be equivalent to governorate (Mohafza) and it should again be Alexandria... As the governorate shares the name with the city... Then you must have a field for the country... which is obviously Egypt. The postal code you live in should be added before the City... so your full address should look like this: Street address 1 and 2: (Building number) Lagita street - El Ibrahimia City: (Postal code) Alexandria Province/ State (or Governorate): Governorate of Alexandria Country: Arab Republic of Egypt. But make sure they do accept international orders... good luck. Edit: By the way if you are purchasing customable items... your shipment will be kept at the closest post office... you'll be notified in writting to go collect it there so that you can pay the custom duties... it won't be delivered to your door steps as it will be considered imported goods Others Street Address 1: Lagita Street (building number and apartment number) Street Address 2: Elibrahimia City: Alexandria Province/State: Egypt However, if the system is automated it will not recognize this format. You should find out if the company ships international, since they would have a different form for this entirely. Before filling out any address form, find out from customer service the cost and procedure for international shipping. The cost for international shipping is usually so high that it makes more sense to try to buy the item locally. Unless, of course, it is something you can't buy locally. Alexandria: is the city. Elibrahima: is the province/state. Egypt: is the country. Make sure that the site you are buying through is a "Safe Site".Otherwise you may loose your money and recieve nothing for it.
